Step 1. Install Boomerang

First things first — let's install Boomerang!

What do you need to use Boomerang for Gmail?

You will need a compatible email account and one of our supported web browsers. Boomerang works with Gmail and Google Workspace (G Suite) accounts, and is available for Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge and Safari web browsers.

Install Boomerang on Chrome

Visit to our download page or click here to go to Boomerang's page in the Chrome Web Store.

Click on the Add to Chrome button:

That's it! You'll be redirected to your Gmail Inbox with Boomerang installed. You will see a Boomerang icon in the top right corner of your Gmail screen.

Install Boomerang on Firefox

Visit to our download page, or click here to begin the download for Boomerang for Gmail.

Firefox will ask you to give permission to install Boomerang.
Click Continue to Installation in the top left corner of your Firefox browser window:

Click Add to install the Boomerang for Gmail extension:

That's it! Open Gmail in a new tab and you will see a Boomerang icon in the top right corner of your Gmail screen:

Install Boomerang on Opera

Click on the green  Add to Opera button:

That's it! Open Gmail in a new tab and you will see a Boomerang icon in the top right corner of your Gmail screen.

Install Boomerang on Edge

Visit to our download page, or click here to launch the Windows Store listing for Boomerang for Gmail.

Click on the Get button:

Click the Add extension button to install Boomerang for Gmail:

That's it! You'll be redirected to your Gmail Inbox, with Boomerang installed. You will see a Boomerang icon in the top right corner of your Gmail screen

Install Boomerang on Safari

Visit to our download page, or click here to download Boomerang for Gmail for Safari. A file called boomerang_safari.dmg will be saved to your Downloads folder.

Open your Downloads folder and locate the file called boomerang_safari.dmg. Double-click on it to open the file.

The following dialog will open. Drag the Boomerang.app file into the Applications folder.

Open a Finder window, navigate to your Applications folder, and locate Boomerang.app. Double-click it to open it, and make sure to select Open when prompted.

Follow the instructions displayed to Enable Boomerang in your Safari Preferences.

That's it! Open Gmail in a new tab, and you will see a Boomerang icon in the top right corner of your Gmail screen.
