Modifying Suggested Times after you've already sent the email

You've just used Suggest Times to send an email inviting a colleague to meet next week, but realize that some of the times you've suggested may conflict with another potential event.

In this article:

Remove a time slot from a set of suggested times

Thanks to Boomerang's Magic Live Calendar, everything works perfectly even if your availability changes after you send the email. If you add an event to your calendar that overlaps with one of the suggested times, it will be automatically removed.

Even though you don't have to worry about double booking yourself, you might want to go ahead and remove some of the suggested times for peace of mind. Here's how:

1
In Gmail, click the Boomerang icon in the top right corner of the page.

2
Click Manage pending events from the dropdown menu.

3
The Pending Events tab of your manage page shows a list of all events awaiting a response. Locate the name of the meeting you'd like to change. You can sort by events most recently added, or soonest upcoming events.

3
Click on the X icon in the upper right corner of the time slots you'd like to remove.

The next time your recipient opens the email, the time slots you removed will no longer be offered.

Cancel a set of suggested times

If needed, you can also cancel a set of suggested times.

1
In the Pending Events tab of your manage page, locate the name of the meeting you'd like to change. You can sort by events most recently added, or soonest upcoming events.

2
Click on the cancel button in the bottom right of the set of suggested times.

This set of suggested times has been canceled. If your recipient views the message again, they will be prompted to contact you for available times.
